Will I be charged for Skillsoft when my free year ends?

For a limited time, if you purchase a new Codecademy Pro or Pro Student annual plan, you also unlock courses in business, leadership, communication, and more from our parent company, Skillsoft.  

This gives you Skillsoft access free for a full year from the day you start your Pro annual plan.

Nope! Your Skillsoft account will not renew with your Codecademy Pro annual plan.  

After your free year, you’ll no longer have access to Skillsoft courses — but you’ll still be able to view any credits or badges earned.  

Do I get access to Skillsoft if I start a free trial?

What plans qualify for a free year of Skillsoft?

Yes. If you start a free trial for a Codecademy Pro annual plan, you can also try Skillsoft’s AI-driven platform. If you choose to cancel your Codecademy trial at any time, your Skillsoft access will also end. 

Anyone who purchases a new Codecademy Pro annual plan will get a year of free business skills training from Skillsoft.

Can I earn credits with Skillsoft?

Yes. You can earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits on select courses.  

You can also show how much you’re learning by collecting badges on courses you complete.
