To get started with Sage Payroll, follow two simple steps:
Let us know how many subscriptions you want to buy and over how long – then get a discount up front.
After signing up for Sage for Accountants, talk to a practice success manager. Specify how long the term of the agreement is - 12 or 24 months and decide how many Accounting subscriptions you want to purchase over that time.
Only using free tools and support? If you’ve signed up to Sage for Accountants Essentials plan and are using the free complimentary tools and allowances, you won’t be charged.
Once you're signed up to a Sage for Accountants plan, you will only be billed for increasing your allowances or adding subscriptions for your clients through Manage Subscriptions. These Overages will come at a cost, which means that you only pay for what you use.
You can however upgrade your plan at any time if you need greater allowances or extra subscriptions for your practice. The Standard plan starts at £95 GBP per month, while the Premium plan starts at £245 GBP per month. Both these plans still allow you to add on allowances or subscriptions for an extra cost, except you save more in the long-run.
There is a Sage Accounting plan for every client regardless of the complexity of their business.
All 5 plans (Individual Free, Individual, Start, Standard, and Plus) provide the features needed to keep digital records and manage bookkeeping for your clients. Choose which plan is right for your clients, based on the type of business they run.
Individual Free: Ideal for tax payers who do their own Self Assessment, taking the first step to digital record keeping.
Individual: An automated solution ideal for tax payers who want to go digital, sort and prepare tax records with their accountant.
Accounting Start: Ideal for your clients that are just starting out with their new business, sole traders, and micro businesses that need to keep business records such as sales invoices, cash purchases, CIS for subcontractors, and simple VAT.
Accounting Standard: Perfect for clients that run a small business with more complex record keeping. It offers everything Sage Accounting Start offers, plus more advanced features including managing creditors, CIS, analysis reporting and more detailed financial reports.
Accounting Plus: Offers all of the Standard features plus support for multiple currencies and inventory management.
A VPA is your contract and commitment to a set volume of client subscriptions.
You can let us know how many subscriptions of Sage Accounting you want to buy and over how long (12 or 24 months) then get a discount upfront from the very first one you activate.
Plus, you only pay for the rest as and when you activate each client.
If you intend to buy several Sage Accounting client subscriptions, a Volume Purchase Agreement (VPA) is a great way to unlock additional discounts from day one. VPA is the alternative to buying one client subscription at a time and gives you the best price.
Sage gives accountants discounts for buying more subscriptions for their clients. You get Sage Points whether you buy one client subscription at a time or use the VPA but with the VPA you get the points and the discount from the very first subscription and get a better discount.
You choose how many client tools you would like to buy and over what period. Simply sign the agreement and activate the subscriptions for your clients as you need them.
For example, Samantha is an accountant. She decides that with the type of clients she has she will need 10 subscriptions of Sage Accounting Start, 10 of Standard and 10 of Plus over the next 24 months. She signs a Volume Purchase Agreement with Sage. Sage gives her the discount she has earned for committing to buy 30 subscriptions and the Points for all 30 subscriptions are applied from day one. She gets her discount from the very first subscription she activates. By planning ahead Samantha has been able get all her Points at the start to maximise the discount she receives from Sage.
You will not be entitled to save further on the cost of your chosen plan if you do not fully meet your monthly allowances. We do not offer discounts on unused allowances in our plans.
