What happens if my customers use over 5TB of backup storage?
All Reseller accounts come with a pool of 5TB of backup storage, which is only used when your customers add files to their backups. When the combined usage of your backup customers exceeds the initial 5TB, we will add a storage add-on to your account automatically to make sure your customers do not experience any upload problems. Storage add-ons are charged monthly and will be automatically removed if your combined customer backup usage goes below the threshold.
Is the 5TB storage used for other account types such as Briefcase and Business accounts?
The included 5TB storage space is only for Backup usage.
Can customers back up their smart phones and tablets?
Customers who have a Briefcase add-on can back up the photos and videos they take on their iOS and Android devices via the Livedrive mobile apps. Users with a standard Backup account can only back up their Windows or Mac computer, however they can view and download their backed up files via the Livedrive iOS and Android mobile apps.
